This Summer Birch Trees is based on Birch trees that are close to the boundary of the farm that we live on. I have attached the photos that formed the basis of the painting - you will see that some artistic licence was taken!
As well as the original, two Limited Edition prints are available here. One measures 40 x 50 cm, and will fit an off the shelf frame, and the other is 30 x 43 cm, with an image size of 30 x 40 cm.

Additional Information
My original is available either framed or simply mounted. I will have to wait until my framers at Inverness Framing Company have reopened after this Lockdown to fulfil any order but I know that they will do a fantastic job. If you are interested in purchasing this original please contact me first as delivery charges are fluctuating due to the coronavirus pandemic, and I should be able to get a better price for you.
I also have one Limited Edition Giclée Print of the original. Only 95 will be produced in this size. I will sign and number each print individually on the front and sign and date on the reverse and wrap in acid-free tissue paper. The print comes unmounted and unframed, ready for you to add a mount and frame of your choice.
The original painting was digitally photographed before being printed onto beautiful Hahnemuhle Roughtexture 310 gsm watercolour paper using Epson Ultrachrome HDR (high dynamic range) archival quality pigment inks on an Epson Stylus Pro 7900 printer. What this all means is that the colours and textures are as close as you will get to the original painting, without the price-tag!
If you would like this print in another size please email me and I will arrange that with my printer. As this is a digital print, he can produce it in any size that you want without any loss of colour or clarity, and either with or without a border. If you are thinking of buying a frame “off the shelf” it’s handy to have a border on the image but if you are considering a custom frame and mount for the print you may want it without the white border. Just contact me if you have any queries about the sizing.
