I painted this interpretation of my wildflower garden while listening to a box set of Oscar Peterson - one of my favourite jazz pianists - and I think he inspired me!
The first photo shows the painting, the second shows a detail or the work, and the third shows it in situ at my solo exhibition in Eden Locke on George street in Edinburgh.
This painting is pure watercolour on beautiful 300lb paper, full imperial size (76 × 56 cm) with the deckled edge showing above the mount. It is mounted and framed with glass.
