This Small White Flower is one of a series of White flowers that I did a couple of years ago to explore how far I could go with shading white petals, while keeping the flower recognisable. Both the flower and the background are totally imaginary, while the shading is “exaggerated reality”!

This was one of my paintings in the Highland Seasons exhibition and is currently framed but can be sold simply mounted. We just have to wait for my framers at Inverness Framing Company to reopen so they can do the job properly for us!
