Summer Daisies Giclée Print 40 x 50cm
The original watercolour painting of this Giclée print was painted after picking a bunch of dog daisies in my wildflower garden, putting them in water and placing them beside my painting table. As is often the case for me, the container does not make it into the painting….i suppose the flowers are still “outside in my head” when I start painting them! In this print, the total size is 40 × 50cm including the white border, with the image being 40 × 30cm.
I sign each print individually on the front and sign and date them on the reverse before wrapping in acid-free tissue paper. The print comes unmounted and unframed, ready for you to add those of your choice.
If you would like the print in any size other than 40 × 50cm, please drop me a line. There will be an extra charge, but all sizes are possible.
My original painting was digitally photographed and printed onto beautiful Hahnemuhle rough texture 310gsm watercolour paper by the wonderful Lighthouse Photographics in Glasgow. They use Epson Ultrachrome HDR (high dynamic range) archival quality pigment inks, and print on an Epson Stylus Pro 7900 printer…..What this all means is that the colours and textures are as close as you will get to the original painting without the price-tag!
