Papa Jimmy's Sweet Pea - Giclée Print 40 x 50 cm
This Giclée Print is produced from a large original painting that I did based on a beautiful bunch of Sweet Pea that I received from a family friend.
I decided to do a painting based on a limited palette, using the technique of “Negative Painting” and this was the result!
The photos show this print mounted and some of the other merchandise that this image is available on - cards, luxury cuffs - as well as the original hanging at my 2023 exhibition in Eden Locke on George Street in Edinburgh, with two very special women!
I sign each print individually on the front and sign and date them on the reverse before wrapping in acid-free tissue paper. The print comes unmounted and unframed, ready for you to add those of your choice.

My original painting was digitally photographed and printed onto beautiful Hahnemuhle rough texture 310gsm watercolour paper by the wonderful Lighthouse Photographics in Glasgow. They use Epson Ultrachrome HDR (high dynamic range) archival quality pigment inks, and print on an Epson Stylus Pro 7900 printer…..What this all means is that the colours and textures are as close as you will get to the original painting without the price-tag!
